A London based construction company has been fined over £250,000 after poor Health & Safety management on-site. 
In October 2017, the company received multiple prohibition notices after serious breaches of legislation. The company was found in violation of Work at Height Regulations 2005 and The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. 
Injuries resulting from the use of angle grinders are numerous across the country. The most common sites injured are the head and face. The high-speed disc of angle grinders does not respect anatomical boundaries or structures and thus the injuries produced can be disfiguring, permanently disabling or even fatal. 
Worldwide furniture giant has been fined £100,000 after one of its engineers was injured whilst carrying out maintenance on a faulty roof fan. As a result, the employee has had two of his fingers amputated.
